KPOA Annual Meeting Set for June 3

The Kensington Property Owners Association (KPOA) will hold its annual membership meeting by Zoom on Saturday June 3, at 10am.

Planned topics and expert speakers include: wildfire evacuation planning and alerts with Fire Chief Eric Saylors and Police Chief Mike Gancasz (plus updates on their departments, interagency cooperation, wildfire risk reduction requirements/recommendations, and other security issues); Interim District General Managers Dave Aranda (KPPCSD) and Mary Mayorga (KFPD) on police headquarters location search, PSB rebuild, budget and district financial status and recruitments for permanent General Managers; Rob Firmin, KPOA President on government unification (consolidation) into a single, efficient district and Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia’s updates on the Kensington Tree Obstruction View (TOV) ordinance amendments and other County issues.
